one of ‘these’ as a gift? Remember that the library circulates DS, PS3, PS4, Wii, WiiU, XBox Kinect, and XBox One titles in the Children’s Department. Search the library catalog for “video games” or search “wii” (Wii and WiiU will show up) or “ps3” etc. for specific platforms.
New books!
Here’s a picture of one of our new books, all filled with titles that just came in today! If it’s a little blurry, it’s because my hand was shaking in excitement! Can you ‘I Spy’ the Minecraft titles? Squeee!
Hobbit Party!

Holiday Silly Song Sing-Along
As part of the Stratford tree lighting events, the library will host Edward Leonard’s Holiday Silly Song Sing-Along. The program includes children’s songs, musical games, dance movements and rhythms. Dress up storytimes
Special announcement: The Tuesday 10:30 storytime and the Friday 10:30 storytime this week are Halloween-themed with costumes encouraged. Children will be trick-or-treating around the library at the end of storytime. Happy Halloween, everyone!
Crazy 8s Bedtime Math
For all our preschoolers ages 3 to 6 who are night owls, come on out to Bedtime Math’s Crazy 8s club! Wednesdays, October 8 and 22 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Each session focuses on a math topic with an engaging activity. Parents needed to volunteer for future sessions. To sign up, call 203-385-4165
