Miss Soto’s Literary Legacy Project

The Stratford Library is raising funds to support the Vicky Soto Foundation’s “Miss Soto’s Literary Legacy” project, which places 4 book titles per year in Stratford K-6 Classrooms and at the Stratford Library.  As part of this project, the Library hosts a children’s program to highlight each new title.  Vicky, a Stratford resident, was a first grade teacher at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT. Her life exemplified a love of children, her dedication to learning, and her delight in nature and children’s literature. In order to realize this project, The Stratford Library will be accepting tax deductible donations in Victoria Soto’s memory. Persons or groups wishing to contribute to this memorial fund may mail a check to the Stratford Library designating it for the Victoria Soto Legacy Project.

Hours: Mon.-Thu. 10-8, Fri.-Sat. 10-5, Sun. 1-5 (from Oct. thru mid May)
