Dragon Hunt

Going on a dragon hunt (pretend to march)
And I’m not afraid. (point to self)
There’s a tall mountain – (look with hand over eyes)
Can’t go under it (move hand down)
Can’t go around it (move hand in a circle around you)
Guess I’ll go over it. (reach hands as if climbing)
There’s a river – (look with hand over eyes)
Can’t go over it (move hand down)
Can’t go around it (move hand in a circle around you)
Guess I’ll swim across it. (move arms as if swimming)
There’s some tall grass – (look with hand over eyes)
Can’t go over it (move hand up)
Can’t go around it (move hand in a circle around you)
Guess I’ll go through it. (slap hands up and down in front)
There’s a castle! (point ahead)
Can’t go over it. (move hand down)
Can’t go under it (move hand down)
Guess I’ll go in it. (pretend to open door and walk in)
It’s dark and spooky in here (shake)
It’s cold in here (wrap arms around self and shiver)
I feel some scales (pretend to rub something)
I feel some teeth. (pretend to prick your finger)
Oh! It’s a dragon! (scream)
Run out of the castle (run in place)
Go through the grass (run in place)
Swim across the river (pretend to swim)
Climb over the mountain (pretend to climb)
Run home (run in place)
Open the door (pretend to open a door)
Jump into bed (jump)
Hide under the covers. (cover head with arms)
Whew! (take a deep breath)
I went on a dragon hunt
And I wasn’t afraid!

5 Green Dragons

Five green dragons making such a roar.
One danced away and then there were four.
Four green dragons dancing around a tree.
One danced away and then there were three.
Three green dragons dancing around you.
One danced away and then there were two.
Two green dragons dancing in the sun.
One danced away and then there was one.
One green dragon having lots of fun
She danced away and then there were none.

I’m A Little Dragon
(Sing to: “I’m A Little Teapot”)

I’m a little dragon, strong and stout.
Here is my tail and here is my snout.
Please don’t tickle me, ‘cos if you do
I’ll sneeze fire all over you!
