We have hotspots available for check out. These hotspots offer wifi for up to 16 devices by connecting to T-mobile’s cellular network to provide internet access. They have a long-lasting battery that can provide internet on-the-go or be used to charge your devices.
Hotspots will circulate for three weeks, with two renewals, provided there are no holds. They’re available at the check out desk and can only be borrowed by adults.
Before you borrow a hotspot, you’ll need to read and sign the following hotspot agreement:
Hotspot Lending Program
Hotspots provide wireless internet access to devices (laptops, tablets, etc.) using cellular service to access the internet.
- Our hotspots are from T-mobile and will not work in areas without service from T-mobile.
- While the wireless network provided by the hotspots is password-protected, no network is 100% secure. You are using this service at your own risk. The library is not responsible for any malware, viruses, or malfeasance you encounter while using a hotspot.
- If this hotspot is overdue by more than 7 days, the library will disable it remotely, cutting off your internet access.
- If you lose the hotspot, the library will disable it remotely and it will not work anymore.
