Joan: Life Beyond The Script

We are teaming up with Obodo Serendipity Books for a discussion of Joan Lunden’s new book. Be inspired by her willingness to step out of her comfort zone while reinventing herself and the environment around her.
No need to have read the book, we will be focusing our program on reflecting on our own lives and how we can grow, while enjoying some light refreshments. We will be giving away 10 of her books at the discussion. You must attend the program to get a book.

Career Coach: Learn Microsoft Word on the Career Coach
Tuesday, March 10 | 10am to 12pm & 1pm to 3pm | Career Coach Bus parks on Main Street near the library front entrance.
Learn what you need to successfully use Microsoft Word!
The workshop will cover:
– Managing the Ribbon: Learning how to control and organize the menu bar at the top of the screen in software.
– Navigating the Keyboard: Getting better at moving around on the computer using just the keyboard, not the mouse.
– Learning how to efficiently use the buttons and menus at the top of computer programs to accomplish your tasks effectively.
– Discover handy shortcuts you can use to finish up your document faster!
There will be time to practice what you learned at the end of the session.
