Stratford Library School Visits
Throughout the month of May, the Children’s Department librarians are visiting every K-5 classroom in the Town of Stratford. For Kindergarten and First grade we read a book and then discuss our Summer Reading Program which begins on June 1st. Grades 2-5 we are book talking our favorite books which include different genres and share the books by flipping through the pages. Grades 2-5 are given a bookmark with the list of books from our school visits. The Summer Events Flyer will be coming to your school shortly. Promoting reading in our community will create life-long readers.
