TEEN SUMMER READING BEGINS
For every 30 minutes of time teens (grades 7-college freshman) spend reading (or listening!) to a book this summer:
- Log your reading time on your online account at stratfordlibrary.org to register.
- The longer you read, the more tickets you earn.
- Each week, 1 teen will win a $10 gift card & 1 teen will win a $25 gift card.earn a virtual ticket for our prize drawings.

We can’t watch movies together SO we’ve devised something better: a kit with everything you need to have a chill night in! Each Teen Grab ‘n’ Go Kit includes an 80s-themed movie (that you need to return when you’re done) as well as candy & popcorn. Part of the fun is that you won’t know what movie you’ve snagged until you get home. Kick back, relax, & enjoy the flick! No registration required; first come, first serve. One kit per teen while supplies last. Grades 7-13.

Remember sitting outside at night and watching or trying to catch a firefly? Recreate the sparkly light in your own crafted working light jar. We’ll supply everything you need to build it. Snap a pic and share it on our DIY Discord channel.
