Get a Library Card
If you live in Stratford you may get a library card. Bring a form of identification that shows your Stratford, CT address (such as a driver’s license, lease or utility bill) to apply for a card at the Check-Out Desk. Children in 6th grade or lower must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Use your current Stratford Library card to borrow and return books in any public library in Connecticut. Residents of other Connecticut towns are welcome to use the Stratford Library and borrow materials. Just bring your up-to-date library card from your hometown to register. Questions? Fines & Fees
The Stratford Library no longer charges daily late fees. However, you will be billed for the cost of lost or damaged items.
