American military historian Matthew Bartlett presents this fascinating program on female spies during the Civil War. The program focuses on four women who risked all for their country during the Civil War. Mr. Bartlett will tell how these women played an important part in the extensive spy networks that were formed on both the Union and Confederate sides. He will be dressed in period costume for this program.

Matthew Bartlett is the author of the series of books on the Battle of Gettysburg, “The Gettysburg Chronicle,” he has a Master’s of Military History with a specialization in Civil War Studies from the American Military University.
